Parking in Kraków
Parking in Kraków can be a challenge, especially in the city center.
The Paid Parking Zone (SPP) is divided into subzones with different hourly rates:
- Subzone A – from Monday to Sunday, 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Subzone B – from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Subzone C – from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Medotel is located in Subzone A.
There are also guarded parking lots and Park & Ride facilities near the city center, making it easier to explore Kraków without the hassle of finding a parking space.
Please note that parking on sidewalks or in prohibited areas may result in a fine or vehicle towing.
The first hour of parking in Zone A costs 9 PLN, the second costs 10 PLN, and the third 11 PLN. For the fourth hour and subsequent hours, the fee is PLN 9 each, meaning a full-day stay on weekdays (10 hours – from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM) totals 93 PLN.
Effective January 31, 2026.
Parking fees apply from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, except on the following days:
1 January – New Year’s Day,
Easter Sunday and Easter Monday,
1 November – All Saints’ Day,
24 December – Christmas Eve,
25 December – Christmas Day,
26 December – Second Day of Christmas

1. Coins: Accepted denominations are 1 PLN, 2 PLN, and 5 PLN (parking meters do not give change).
2. Contactless cards (PayPass, PayWave): Available in selected sectors (a full list is available on site).
